What Tech AI-Copilot does not replace

Tech AI-Copilot is a support tool, not a substitute for OEM service manuals, OEM diagnostic systems, formal technician training, or your dealership's procedures and safety policies. Always defer to those sources when they conflict with a suggestion from the assistant.

Responsibility for repairs

The technician remains responsible for every diagnosis and repair performed. Tech AI-Copilot is not liable for misdiagnosis or incorrect repairs, damage to vehicles or property, lost time or income, or any outcome resulting from reliance on AI-generated suggestions.

How data is handled

Tech AI-Copilot only analyzes content you specifically choose to capture or highlight — there's no automated scraping, scanning, or background screen capture. Captured content is processed briefly to generate a response and then discarded; VINs, customer data, RO details, and OEM content are not stored, retained, or sold.

OEM content & intellectual property

Tech AI-Copilot does not access OEM portals, does not scrape, index, or store OEM manuals, and does not reproduce or distribute OEM procedures. In turn, Tech AI-Copilot's own branding, workflows, UI concepts, feature designs, and prompt structures are the property of Tech AI-Copilot LLC.

Acceptable use

You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the extension, or build a competing product using its workflow, UI, or prompts. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse, attempted reverse engineering, abusive behavior, violations of data privacy policies, or unauthorized commercial use.
